Stockton, California was named the most diverse city in the nation in 2020. A great way to celebrate that designation is by supporting the businesses and organizations headed by dedicated members of our Black community. From restaurants to retail shops, Stockton’s unique and culturally rich flavor is made more valuable by the influence of our Black business owners. Stockton has a unique style, and a part of it comes from the trendsetters that reside in it. Lilou of the Valley Vintage, located in Downtown Stockton on Acacia Street, specializes in fabulous clothing and accessories everyone in the family will enjoy. The crew at Smitty’s Wings & Things offers up homemade sauces like Hot Honey and Thai Sweet & Sour drizzled over flavorful wings. The SHAW Bar is locally-owned and operated by Lakeisha Little-Shaw and offers a wide variety of nutritional options that cater to your every dietary need.
